When the non commissioned aeronautics officer, Giashischa, was traveling by car, with his wife and children, they noticed a luminous mass of considerable size, suspended a 3' above the ground, 300' from the road, next to the road.
It would have a 60' diameter, 7' or 8' high. It seemed to rotate on its axis and did not emit any noise. Mr. Giashischa tried to descend from his vehicle and approach the object, but his wife prevented it.
Near Monte de las Palomas, Rio Tercero, Cordoba, Argentina
Mr. Eduardo Ovejero and three well known professionals from Cordoba, were hunting, when they saw a small ball of violet light descend, which was lost among the trees. Minutes later, a thick white fog flooded the atmosphere.
Despite the low visibility, they noticed an approaching light bulb, moving to the height of the trees. Silently passed a few meters from them and they could see that it was two discoidal light bulbs. The fog disappeared as if it had been absorbed by the phenomenon.
Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina
Members of an orchestra that was heading to the capital of the province, when they were about 15 miles west of it, observed what at first they believed was a field fire. Then, from the place was seen the takeoff of a giant body shaped like a saucer, which along with other smaller objects that followed it, overvowed the vehicle of the witnesses and went away towards the north.
815 - Lyons, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France
The Carolingian archbishop, Agobard of Lyons, described in his De Grandine et Tonitruis, On Hail and Thunder, of a certain region called Magonia from whence come ships in the clouds, and how he prevented the stoning death of three men and a woman who said they had fallen from these same ships.
1319 - Russia
At night, over Russia, people observed fiery pillars they extended from the ground toward the sky. Some also sighted a heavenly arc. Yet others saw horse-like flying entities, equipped with lanterns.
1138 - Germany
It was reported that a dwarf was captured in the cellar of a German monastery.
It was very black and did not speak any known language. He was tied up briefly but the rope was slackened to see what he would do.
He returned to the cellar where he was found and there raised a stone on the ground and disappeared through a tunnel where nobody was able to follow him.
The mysterious tunnel was reportedly sealed with a cross.
October 11, 1492 - At Sea
Christopher Columbus and Pedro Gutierrez while on the deck of the Santa Maira, observed, a light glimmering at a great distance. It vanished and reappeared several times during the night, moving up and down, in sudden and passing gleams.
1638 - Lublin, Poland
There is a table in the town hall of Lublin which bears the burned imprint of a human hand.
Today this town hall is used as a courthouse. Once at night a secretary reported seeing mysterious creatures that frightened her. She claimed to have seen horns on their heads, hidden in their thick black hair.
The next day the burned imprint which resembled the palm of a man was found. It is said that devils had visited the location summoned by a woman who remarked:
If devils would be the judges, the sentence will be more just.
1639 - Boston, MA
In 1639, America's first UFO was sighted over the Charles River in Boston. Lights sped back and forth across the Charles River from Back Bay Fens to Charlestown. Governor John Winthrop made an entry in his journal regarding this strange event. The primary witness was described as a man of good reputation, activity and estate in Boston.

One noble and God fearing man woke up in the morning and was praying in the garden when he saw a flying man who was flying without wings, because evil was carrying him.
November 4, 1697 - Hamburg, Germany
There was a UFO sighting over Hamburg, Germany on November 4, 1697, depicted in this artwork.
The objects were described as being 2 glowing wheels.
If the round object on the far right is the moon, the UFOs were either very low or very large. Notice also the many people pointing, this was likely a famous event.
1720 - Isle of Man, England
A man reportedly encountered several little figures, playing and leaping over some stones in a field, whom, a few yards distant, he imagined were school boys, and intended, when he came near enough, to reprimand, for being absent from school.
Within maybe 20', they all immediately disappeared. He never took his eyes off of them.
1746 - Culloden, Scotland
Just before the disastrous battle of Culloden a horrifying winged creature with a human head and red glowing eyes, hovered on black leathery wings over a detachment of terrified soldiers emitting spine-chilling shrieks.
August 5 1748 - Near Culloden, Scotland
Several locals saw 3 globes of light in the sky over the area, which at first they took to be weather galls but increased in brilliance.
Soon after twelve tall men wearing bright clean attire were seen crossing the valley.
May 10, 1760 - Bridgewater, MA & Roxbury, MA
At 10:00 a.m. on May 10, 1760, a sphere of fire was reported to hover over New England and emit a light so bright that is cast shadows in the morning sun.
Reportedly, the light was seen from both Bridgewater and Roxbury. Since then, the area has spawned a diversity of reports that include events that range from ghost dancers to UFOs to Cryptozoological sightings.
The sighting was noted in the 1760 edition of The Gentleman's Magazine And Historical Chronicles.
Winter 1769 - Matemblewo, Poland
A carpenter from Materna was on his way to Gdansk. In Matemblewo he encountered a young woman surrounded in bright light announcing the birth of his son.
The woman walked toward the nearby forest and then disappeared.
Interpreted as a Virgin Mary encounter.
August 18, 1783 - Windsor Castle, England
A sighting that occurred at 9:45 p.m. on the evening of August 18, 1783 when 4 witnesses on the terrace of Windsor Castle observed a luminous object in the skies of the Home Counties of England:
An oblong cloud moving more or less parallel to the horizon.
Under this cloud could be seen a luminous object which soon became spherical, brilliantly lit.
September 19, 1783 - Annonay, France

1790 - New York's Schoharie County, (9:00 p.m.)
A bright shining light appeared in the northern sky with a great roar. The witness indicated that it grew in intensity until it would have out-shown the noonday sun. The resident remarked that the light was so bright that he could have picked up pins in every corner. As the object moved over the countryside, it met with a rise of tall trees and as it did, it rose above them and continued on with the speed of galloping horse.
1799 - Siberia, Russia
During this time reports of "black men" riding in circular crafts that spurted fire from the rear leaving behind long wakes of fire circulated in the region.
1803 - Croydon, England
A strange figure described as dressed in a black mask and cape, attacked over 50 people in the Hare and Hounds and Purley Way area.
It escaped by leaping over 12' walls.
1842 - Stowmarket, England
A man claimed an encounter with fairies when walking through a meadow on his journey home.
He encountered about a dozen of them, the biggest about 3' tall and small ones like dolls. They were moving around hand in hand in a ring, no noise came from them. They seemed light and shadowy, not like solid bodies.
He ran home and got 3 other witnesses, but when they got to the location the small entities were gone.
Aug. 6, 1860 - Norfolk, VA
Two objects, one red and one green, flew overhead together, moving with an undulating motion.
July, 1868 - Copiago, Chile
A strange aerial construction, bearing lights and making engine noises flew low over this town. Local people also described it as a giant bird covered with large scales producing a metallic noise. Although not an actual landing, this is the first instance of close observation of an unknown object at low altitude in the 19th century.
December 07, 1872 - Banbury, England
At King's Sutton an object resembling a haystack, flew on an irregular course. Sometimes high, sometimes very low it was accompanied by fire and dense smoke. It produced the same effect as a tornado, felling trees and walls. It suddenly vanished.
1877 - England
Three meteor like objects moving together with remarkable slowness flew across the sky, visible about three minutes, moving with the same velocity and grade of regularity.
1878 - Denison, TX
From Mr. John Martin, a farmer who lives some six miles south of this city, we learn the following strange story: Tuesday morning while out hunting, his attention was directed to a dark object high up in the southern sky. The peculiar shape and velocity with which the object seemed to approach riveted his attention and he strained his eyes to discover its character.
May 15, 1879 - Persian Gulf (9:40 p.m.)
Two very large wheels were seen spinning in the air and slowly coming to the surface of the sea. Estimated diameter: 130'. Distance between the objects: 500'. Speed: 50 mph. Duration: 35 min. Witnesses aboard the ship Vultur.
1880 - Aldershot, Hampshire, England
A strange being dressed in tight fitting clothes and shining helmet soared over the heads of two sentries, who fired without result. The apparition stunned them with something described as blue fire.
1880 - Eastern Venezuela
A 14 year old boy saw a luminous ball descending from the sky and hovering near him. He felt somehow drawn to it, but succeeded in backing away in spite of his terror.
March 26, 1880 - Lamy, NM
Four men walking near Galisteo Junction were surprised as they heard voices coming from a strange balloon, which flew over them. It was shaped like a fish and seemed to be guided by a large fanlike device. There were 8 to 10 figures aboard. Their language was not understood. The object flew low over Galisteo Junction and rose rapidly toward the east.
1881 Between Melbourne and Sydney at sea. Australia
The two sons of the Prince of Wales, one of them the future king of England, were cruising aboard La Bacchante, when an object resembling a fully lighted ship was seen, a phantom vessel all aglow.
July 3, 1884 - Norwood, NY
A Saturn shaped UFO, globe with central ring, flew slowly overhead.
November 02, 1885 - Scutari, Turkey
A luminous object circled the harbor. Altitude: 18' Illuminated the whole town. Duration: 1½ min, as a bluish-green flame. Then plunged into the sea. Made several circles above the ferry boat pier.
November 12, 1887 - Cape Race, Atlantic Ocean Midnight
A huge sphere of fire was observed rising out of the ocean by witnesses aboard the Siberian. It rose to an altitude of 50', flew against the wind, and came close to the ship, then dashed off toward the southeast. Duration: 5 min
July 3, 1893 - Tacoma, WA
Several fishermen were awakened in the middle of the night by the presence of a strange craft that they described as an electric monster. Their watches stopped and the craft/monster emitted electricity and light. The craft also made a loud sound. Two men were knocked unconscious in the encounter. The rest of the party fled in terror. They returned and found their two unconscious friends who were revived. Apparently the two men suffered no permanent injuries. This is the first known documented encounter with a UFO in the Pacific Northwest.
1896 - Arolla, near Zermatt, Swiss Alps
Aleister Crowley was walking in the mountains when he suddenly saw two little men. He made a gesture to them, but they did not seem to pay attention and disappeared among the rocks.
November 30, 1896 - Anderson, Shasta County, CA
Several independent witnesses saw an airship fly over emitting beams of light, horses panicked during the overflight as the unknown craft flew off to the southwest.
April - 1897 - Vincennes, IN
Starting in 1896, witnesses in California reported seeing large, unidentified craft in the sky, and numerous sightings surfaced in other states as the object, or objects, purportedly made its way east across the country.
That was, before the invention of the airplane and long range dirigibles.
Newspapers hyped the progress of the airship, including the Vincennes Morning Commercial, which, in April 1897, printed the accounts of a number of reputable citizens who variously claimed to have seen something resembling a sphere of golden light, a ball of fire, and a flying steamboat.

March 26, 1897 - Sioux City, IA
Robert Hibnight bard was caught by an anchor dropped from an unknown flying machine 13 miles north of the town. He was dragged over 6 miles and fell as his clothes were torn.
March 28, 1897 - Omaha, NE (10:30 p.m.)
The majority of the population observed an object arriving from the southeast. It looked like a huge light, flew northwestward slowly, came to low altitude. A crowd gathered at a street corner to watch it.
April 1, 1897 - Everest, KS (9:00 p.m.)
The whole town saw an object fly under the cloud ceiling. It came down slowly, then flew away very fast to the southeast. When directly over the town it swept the ground with its powerful light. It was seen to rise up at fantastic speed until barely discernible, then to come down again and sweep low over the witnesses. At one point it remained stationary for 5 min at the edge of a low cloud, which it illuminated. All could clearly see the silhouette of the craft.
April 12, 1897 - Nilwood, IL (2:30 p.m.)
On the property of Z. Thacker, 12 miles north of Carlinville, an unknown object landed. Before the witnesses could reach it, the craft, which was shaped like a cigar with a dome, rose slowly and left majestically toward the north. Witnesses: Edward Teeples, William Street and Franklin Metcalf.
February 17 1901 - AK
Indians in Alaska reported seeing objects which appeared like suspended cities in the sky.
October 28, 1902 - Gulf of Guinea
Three persons aboard the Fort Salisbury, including Second Officer A.H. Raymer, saw a huge, dark object bearing lights in the sea ahead. It was observed sinking slowly. Estimated length: 650'.
December 17,1903 - Kitty Hawk, NC
Reference Point: The Wright Brothers completed the first flight on this day.
March 17, 1903; Helmer, IN
During the early evening a family watched a brilliantly glowing cigar shaped object hovering at treetop level. It had two rows of evenly spaced windows. When a witness approached to investigate, the object took off, accelerating rapidly and departing in zigzag flight.
1904 - Rolling Prairie, IN
Tom Darby, with his brother and mother, saw two whitish blue objects about 1300' away, from a point situated 2 miles north of Rolling Prairie. The objects hovered 8' above ground, flew toward a barn, came closer to each other, and were hidden from view by a hill.
July 2 1907 - Burlington, VT
A terrific explosion had been heard throughout the city. A ball of light, or a luminous object, had been seen to fall from the sky or from a torpedo-shaped thing, or construction, in the sky.
1908 - Coast of Delaware
The English ship "Mohican", piloted by Capt. Urghart, was going to Philadelphia when it was surrounded by a thick, luminous cloud which magnetized everything on board. The compass was observed to swing wildly. When seamen tried to move some chains on the bridge, they found that they were glued to the metal floor. Suddenly the cloud rose and was seen above the sea for some time.
May 18, 1909 - Caerphilly, Wales
Mr. Lethbridge was walking along a road near the mountains when he saw on the grass a large tubelike machine. Aboard were two men wearing furs and talking excitedly in a language the witness could not understand. The grass was found depressed at the site after the object had flown off.
July 23, 1909 - Sandusky, OH
A light believed by many to have been attached to an airship, attracted a great deal of attention in the northeastern skies about 11 o'clock Thursday night. One minute it would be large and brilliant and the next small and dim. It would remain appearently stationary for awhile and then speed along in an easterly direction at a rapid rate.
January 1910 - Invercargill, New Zealand
Several witnesses - among them the vicar, the Mayor, and a policeman -saw a cigar-shaped object hovering at 90' altitude. A man appeared at a lateral door and was heard shouting some words in an unknown language. The opening closed, and the object accelerated and was lost to sight.
Summer of 1910 - Vernal, UT
A classic disk with body lights and animal reaction case occurred. A man on horseback at night dismounted when his horse became disturbed, and walked to the edge of a clearing in the woods. There he saw a low-hovering disc with a row of lights As he approached, the object emitted a buzzing sound, rose slowly into the sky, then streaked away.
1913 - Barossa Council, Nuriootpa, South Australia
Nuriootpa, South Australia, on circa 1913, at an unknown time:
A farmer discovered a metallic landed object on a field and was zapped by a humanoid which appeared from within it, leaving a lasting paralysis in the witness.
August 21, 1915 - Gallipoli, Turkey
During severe fighting in the Dardanelles, a peculiar cloud engulfed a British regiment which was never seen again. This was observed by 22 men of the First Field Company, NZ Army Corps and stated in an affidavit.
January 31, 1916 - Airspace Over Rochford, Essex, England
Royal Flying Corps pilot Lt. Morgan was flying at 5000' over Rochford, Essex, England on this evening on the lookout for Zeppelins. At 8:25 p.m. he saw an object with a row of lights like the windows on a railway carriage with the blinds drawn. He tried to close but his airplane's engine started malfunctioning. When he fired a pistol at the lights they rose rapidly into the heavens and disappeared out of sight.
October 13, 1917 - Fatima, Portugal
Thousands of people witnessed what looked like the sun gyrate and descend. This was later reinterpreted by Jacques Vallee, Joaquim Fernandes and Fina d'Armada as a possible UFO sighting, but not recognized as such due to cultural differences.
1919 - Figheldean - Wiltshire, England
Two British soldiers report seeing several orange spherical objects hovering over Salisbury Plain.
June 8, 1920 - Rushville, MO (6:00 p.m.)
A cylindrical object flying at only 75' altitude, passing over Rushville, Missouri, was seen by 200 people. It made a 90º turn to the east, and disappeared into a cloud.
1930 - Western Australia
Aboriginal man camping when he saw a green light rotating around in the sky. It landed by some trees.
1933 - Milan, Lombardy, Italy
In 2000, Roberto Pinotti published material regarding the so-called: Fascist UFO Files, which dealt with a flying saucer that had crashed near Milan in 1933, some 14 years before the Roswell, NM crash, and of the subsequent investigation by a never mentioned before Cabinet RS/33, that allegedly was authorized by Benito Mussolini, and headed by the Nobel scientist Guglielmo Marconi.
A spaceship was allegedly stored in the hangars of the SIAI Marchetti in Vergiate near Milan.
January 21 1934 - Bengtsforsen, Sweden
Sunday evening a crowd of people in Bengtsforsen, Jamtland, saw a very bright light in the sky. It was the size of a half-moon and traveled very fast. The roar of an engine was heard during the sighting, In Indal, west of Bengtsforsen, a light appeared after 6:00 p.m. A large crowd heard it and watched as the light circled the area for ten minutes before vanishing in the west.
January 1, 1937 - Virginia - North Carolina Border
At around noon on this day a gondola shaped object, the color of gun metal, crossed the path in front of a aircraft flying near the Virginia-North Carolina border.
26-27 December 1944, Night
While on vector 090 near V-7050 during patrol we observed airborne white lights. They were staggered evenly vertically and we could see from 1 to 4 swing at once. They appeared stationary at 10,000'.
January 1945 - France
Small metallic spheres and colorful balls of light repeatedly spotted and occasionally photographed by bomber crews all over the world during World War II.
May 1945 - St James, MO
33' diameter metallic domed disk hovers over garage. Human appearing occupant inside dome. Humming sound, follow terrain going away. Observed by 2 witnesses, from 50' away for over three minutes.

May 18, 1946 - Angelholm, Sweden

Oregon Journal - June 26, 1947 Carpenter Reports Disks in Midwest
Kansas City, June 26, Nine shiny objects flying at a high rate of speed such as described by a Boise Idaho pilot were reported by W. I. Davenport, a carpenter, to have been sighted here Wednesday. Davenport, working on the roof of a house, said he saw the objects flying west shortly after noon. He said he first heard the faint sound of motors.
There were nine of them, flying in a group with one a little to one side. He said, They were flying so fast I barely had time to count them before they were gone. They were leaving vapor trails.
He added that he could not describe the shape of the objects since he could not see them clearly.
July 3, 1947 - Naval Auxiliary Landing Field, Santa Rosa, CA
A trained observer from the Naval Auxiliary, name withheld by newspaper and confirmed by Dr. R.W. Nelson, civilian dentist, observed an object shaped like a giant pocket watch colored like aluminum about 15' to 20' in diameter, about 1,000' above main runway,
It moved north to end of runway, turned east banking, headed toward Santa Rosa.
July 6, 1947 - Fairfield-Suisun AFB, Fairfield, CA
Army Air Force Captain & his wife observed an unidentified object, having no wings or tail, traveling in a southeasterly direction at an estimated height of 10,000' or more at a speed faster than any aircraft he had ever seen.
The object was about the size of a C-54 aircraft, about 118' and appeared to roll from side to side three times during the observation which was approximately 60 seconds.
August 15 Through 20, 1947 - Rapid City AFB (Now Ellsworth AFB) - Rapid City, SD
Intelligence Officer Major Elmer H. Hammer sitting in the parking lot near the flight line shortly after dark saw to the northwest about 12 elliptical objects about the span of a B-29, 140', with a yellow/white luminous glow in a tight diamond formation, approaching in a shallow descent, level off at about 6,000' to 10,000' altitude at 300 to 400 mph, make a gentle 110° turn to its right about 4 miles away climbing to the southwest, accelerating rapidly. No sound or trail.
The objects started climbing at an angle of 30º to 40º and appeared to accelerate rapidly in the climb.
January 6, 1948 - Chehalis, WA
Mrs Bernice Zaikowski heard a sizzling and whizzing sound at 3:00 p.m., and looked up to see a birdman hovering 200' above her barn. She watched a man equipped with long silver wings fastened over the shoulders with a strap ascend rapidly, hover, bank, then fly away. He flew in an upright position and appeared to be manipulating controls strapped to his chest. The wings did not flap, instead they retracted close to his body during ascent, and were extended to hover or proceed in horizontal flight. Mrs Zaikowski said five other adult witnesses and a number of children also saw the birdman.
July 25, 1948 - Yakima, WA
2:00 p.m. CAA observers saw a silver ball-shaped object flying west over the city against the wind. The same or similiar object was seen again around 4:30 p.m., flying lower and seemed to have flashing lights. Hundreds of calls flooded into the CAA office concerning the moon-sized flying object. A farmer, Victor Kroum saw a flying sphere at about 10 a.m. at Punkin Center, Washington and he notified the CAA tower at Yakima. This locale is just west of the Hanford Works site.
July 29, 1948 - Indianapolis, IN
Witnesses: James Toney & Robert Huggins, both employees of a rug cleaning firm. One shiny aluminum object, shaped something like an airplane's propeller, with 10-12 small cups protruding from either blade. Estimated size 6'-8' long, 1.5'-2' wide. The object glided across the road a few hundred feet in front of their vehicle and apparently went down in a wooded area. Sighting lasted a few seconds.
July 31, 1948 - Indianapolis, IN (8:25 a.m.)
Witnesses: Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Swigert, he was an electrician. Object was shaped like a cymbal, or domed disk, about 20' across and 6'-8' thick, and was white without any shine. It flew straight and level from horizon to horizon in about 10 seconds, shimmering in the sun as if spinning.
October 1, 1948 - Fargo, ND
A US Air Force pilot sighted and pursued a UFO for 27 minutes over Fargo, North Dakota.
May 1, 1949 - Charleston, WV
I was about 12 years old, I was in our back yard,I heard a whooshing sound overhead I looked up to see what looked to be a log flying overhead. I watched as it went out of sight toward the state capital building which we could see from our back yard.It seemed to be going down. I went inside and told my family, but they didn't believe me.
June 22, 1949 - Oak Ridge, TN (1:50 p.m.)
A teacher, a scientist, and one other watched two delta shaped UFOs and a disk fly over the US government nuclear research facility around 7:00 p.m.. The objects appeared to be metallic, and flew slowly toward the northwest.
1950 - Varese, Lombardy, Italy
A factory worker while was working near Varese sighted three humanoids near a craft. One of the entities saw him and shot him with a beam, although it did not do any harm to the man. Afterwards, the humanoids went into the craft and started up to the sky.
January 1, 1950 - Mount Hope, WV
Apparently one of the earliest sightings in the U.S. was reported by the mayor of this small West Virginia city in the 1950s.
The witness later built a memorial to the sighting, which has since been destroyed, and the event was recorded by a British author.

Mid 1950s - Birmingham, Alabama
When a disk crashed near Birmingham, the area was cordoned off and humanoid bodies were flown to Maxwell AFB, according to a man who claims to have flown the helicopter with the bodies to a waiting aircraft.
March 20, 1950 - Stuggart, AR (9:26 p.m.)
Witnesses: Chicago and Southern Airlines Capt. Jack Adams, First Officer G. W. Anderson, Jr. One 100' circular disk with 9-12 portholes along the lower side emitting a soft purple light, and a light at the top which flashed 3 times in 9 seconds, flew at not less than 1,000 MPH It was seen for 25 35 seconds.
April 10, 1950, Montery County, CA
A bright, chrome like flying saucer was spotted yesterday by at least seven persons as it cruised at a high rate of speed over Monterey County.
April 17, 1950 - Los Alamos, NM
More than 15 persons at the secret atomic energy project at Los Alamos, New Mexico reported they saw a UFO on the eastern horizon. One of the observers, a scientist from the University of California Personnel Division watched one of the three objects thru a telescope and said that it looked flat, metallic and was roughly circular and about 9' in diameter. The UFO appeared to be about 2,000' high and moved faster than any known coventional aircraft. It was seen for about 20 minutes and put on quite a show. Dozens of excellent UFO sightings have been reported by countless eyewitnesses at Los Alamos over the years.
February 4, 1951 - Withdean, East Sussex, England between (6:30 and 7:00 p.m.)
A young girl, who was to have other UFO encounters later in life, was playing in her garden in Withdean, East Sussex, England between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. when she saw a hovering disk shaped object with a transparent dome on top. Inside the dome she could see 3 men, and they appeared to be looking down at her. The domed object made a descent into the garden and three humanoids with bald, domed heads exited. The men wore khaki colored outfits, and carried a weird looking object. They floated toward the girl, then reversed direction, reboarded, and took off. Their exit was "like a film in reverse.
March 13, 1951 - McClellan AFB, CA (3:20 p.m.)
Witnesses: USAF 1st Lt. B. J. Hastie, Mrs. Rafferty. A cylinder with twin tails, 200' long and 90' wide, turned north and flew at incredible speed. Two minutes.
March 15, 1951 - New Delhi, India 25 members of a flying club saw a cigar shaped object in the sky which was about 100' long. The UFO hovered and then vanished from sight.
June - 1951 - Denmark I heard a strange whistling noise and saw an object land in a meadow. I approached to within 150', only to find myself completely unable to move. I noticed that the birds had stopped singing and the cows also appeared to be paralyzed.
From the object I saw four handsome men come out. They had brown skin and work black shiny suits with translucent helmets.
1952 - New Delhi, India The attention of customs inspector Sr. Domingo Troncoso was called to a very strange flying object over the river area. The big dirigible shaped craft was flying horizontally and fairly low in the sky, passing from right to left from the observers position.
It was leaving a dense trail of thick smoke, vapor, or substance on its wake. The object was estimated to be over a 100' long.
April 20, 1952 - Flint, MI
Edmund Kogut, Naval Aviator, USNR, Shirley Kogut, Edmund's wife, Alvin Confer, & others at a drive in movie saw approximately 20 groups of aircraft shaped objects moving south to north at high speed.
Some of the flights numbered 2-3-4-6 and 9 objects. Each group of objects was in sight for approximately 6 to 10 seconds. Each object glowed red to light cherry red extending over the entire object, mostly on straight line course, except for occasional standard aircraft like turns.
May 14, 1952 - George AFB, CA
At 1:05 p.m. PST, a round silver metallic looking object was observed by a pilot and an observer in a T-6G aircraft flying 150 mph at 10,000'. The object was at an estimated altitude of 40,000' and was motionless at approximately 20 miles east of Edwards AFB . An F-86 was sent aloft to investigate the object. The length of the observation was 25 minutes.
June - 1952 - Corby, England
The witness was lying in bed when she saw a tiny glass like object come in through the window, it floated to the carpet then gradually disappeared.
Her front door then opened and 3 smiling men entered. They were human looking with golden colored skin and wearing shiny black tight fitting outfits. They spoke in a friendly manner telling the witness that they came from a very happy planet.
They invited her to come with them but she declined the invitation. The 3 men suddenly then disappeared.
June - 1952 - Newton, Abbot, Devon, England
Near the top of Haytor, Mrs. C. Woods saw a little man watching her, shading his eyes from the sun. She was within 120' when he dove out of sight between stones.
He was 3' to 4' tall, dressed in a brown smock with a cord around the waist, and with a brown cap or brown hair. He appeared elderly rather than young.
July 5, 1952 - Richland, WA
4 Florida pilots reported a flying saucer hovering above the Hanford atomic works, a sensitive scientific installation at Richland, Washington, now decomissioned. Captain John Baldwin, Captain George Robertson and pilots D. Shanbel and Steven Summers stated that the UFO was round and flat.
After hovering over the atomic plant, it gained speed, reversed its course and then disappeared quickly. Two yellow globes of fiery appearence were reported over the Hanford plant seven days later, confirmed by Air Force investigators.
July 18, 1952 - Miami, FL (11:00 a.m.)

July 16, 1952 - Salem, MA
Shel Alpert, a USCG seaman on duty in the Coast Guard Weather Office at the Salem Coast Guard Station, saw four brilliant lights in the sky. He called another Guardsman to see the lights, but in those few seconds the lights had become more dim. When they brightened again, he quickly took a single photograph through the window of the office.
July 19, 1952 - Okolona, MS
My Father, an Electronics Technician from Booneville, MS. was traveling by auto to Meridian, MS, on business with 2 colleagues when they observed an oval craft, silver in color, with a dome underneath, as they traveled south on HWY 45 between Okolona and West Point, MS.
The craft had portholes in the upper and lower parts, and paced them on the west side of the road for about 5 minutes, before disappearing from sight.
These men were astounded to see such a craft.

July 25, 1952 - Manassas, VA (12:00 a.m.)
A bright light was observed in the sky east of Manassas by members of the 647th AC&W Squadron. The object was extremely bright. The object was in view for approximately 4 hours. Two F-94 pilots from the 148th Fighter Interceptor Squadron were scrambled to intercept an object. The two F-94 pilots sighted the object but estimated the altitude to be far beyond the capability of their aircraft.
Number of observers: At least 2 from the air, 11 from the ground.
August - 1952 - Fauga, France
M. N. was returning from his work when he spotted on a nearby field about 35' from a hedge, a being of small size, wearing a blue uniform and standing motionless like a statue.
As the witness hid behind the hedge and stared at the figure it suddenly vanished in plain sight to the surprise of the witness.

September 21, 1952 - North Sea
Operation Mainbrace sighting where six British pilots flying a formation of RAF jets above the North Sea observed a shiny sphere approaching from the direction of the fleet. The UFO eluded their pursuit and disappeared. When returning to base, one of the pilots looked back and saw the UFO following him. He turned to chase it, but the UFO also turned and sped away..

October - 1952 - Nimes Courbessac Airport, Gard, France
Several witnesses, including Mr. Felix Fize, saw a UFO of yellowish/silvery metallic appearance, flying at an altitude of about 2,100'.
Through 3 large windows could be seen beings with helmets & goggles. Duration of observation was 10-15 seconds.
October 19, 1952 Momence,IL (10:15 a.m.)
A CAP pilot and observer while on a search mission saw a round silver ball flying at great speed at 1000' altitude.
February 4, 1953 - Yuma, AZ (1:50 p.m.)
U.S. Weather Bureau observer Stanley H. Brown in Yuma, using a theodolite, sighted a dull white, oblong object that was tracked flying straight up vertically, then leveling off and being joined by a second, similar looking object. The second UFO twice flew away and returned to the first. The two dull white objects maneuvered errratically, then in unison against the wind, one degree apart. A thin mist was seen around the edges of the objects. After 5 minutes both objects were lost to sight behind some clouds.
November 3, 1953 - South East of England
Terry Johnson & Geoffrey Smythe, the crew of an RAF Vampire fighter saw a shiny doughnut shaped UFO whilst flying over the South East of England.
The object sped away to the left of their aircraft. Although they were unable to track it on their radar they made a report of the incident when they landed at their base at West Malling, Kent. According to reports the UFO was confirmed on army ground radar in the same area of sky to which the sighting occurred.
December 31, 1953 - Quantico Marine Base, VA
Two marines at the Quantico Marine Corps base in Virginia observed the landing of a round UFO that throbbed and pulsated, emitting red lights.
Spring - 1954 - Mattydale, NY
In this suburb of Syracuse, at 3:00 a.m. on a Sunday, an information specialist and his wife saw a 20' wide object being examined on the ground by several men who were taking pictures. The next day an officer told them the event was a military secret. Later, police denied the whole incident ever took place.
January 15, 1954 - Santa Monica, CT
Very bright light zig zagged over the ocean in wide sweeping movements, very fast for a few seconds, then zoomed straight up and disappeared.
It had to be a UFO, as there isn't anything else that could travel that swiftly. The side to side movements were very abrupt and fast, no arcs, just straight lines, I was on the beach and it was dark so it was very hard to tell how far out over the water this was taking place, maybe 2 miles. The night was clear, no clouds, no fog, and stars were evident.
April 28, 1954 - 45 mi W of Geelong, Victoria, Australia (7:20 a.m.)
Witnesses: Two men, Mr. A.E. (Ted) Smith, 26, train engineer, and Mr. Colin Beacon, 23, train fireman, reported that an object described as a gigantic hazy dark blue object, estimated at 1200'-1500' in diameter, no windows or doors visible, round, made screaming noise, swooped down at locomotive and suddenly swerved up, hovered overhead, careened around the sky, then rose up out of sight. Smith reported that the object came within 350' of them.
September 10, 1954 - Quarouble, France
A metal worker, Marius Dewilde, age 34, came out of his house when his dog was barking and saw a dark object sitting on the railroad tracks. He then observed two dwarfs walking toward it. When he tried to stop them, he found himself paralyzed as a strong orange beam of light that was projected at him. The beings were under 3' tall, bulky, and wore dark diving suits. No faces or arms were visible. Imprints were made by an object, that an engineer estimated must have weighed 30 tons. French police and the French Air Force investigated the case.

Deputy Sheriff A. H. Perkins, C. F. Bell, and a dozen other witnesses saw six bell shaped objects moving by successive leaps. One came close to a patrol car, the men inside felt that their arms and legs went dead, and that their clothes were burning them.
November 25, 1955 - LaVeta, CO (10:30 a.m.)
State Senator S.T. Taylor reported the sighting of an object to the FBI. He described the object as a luminous, greenish-blue, seemed jellish-like, dirigible, slightly barrel-shaped with a larger front end, and tapered toward the tail. It suddenly appeared overhead, diving at a 45º angle, leveled out, and then ascended at a 30º angle for its short 5-second duration. No exhaust was observed and no sound was heard. Senator Taylor estimated the object travelled SW to NE for about 10 miles, at about half the speed of a meteor, and about 15,000' elevation before disappearing over Mt. Mestas.

My Uncle Sam was driving to work very early one winter morning. He lived down the street from my house. As he approached my home in his truck, my house was the highest on the top of the hill, he observed a small saucer shaped object hovering above it.
He stopped the truck, shocked at what he saw. It then hovered higher above the house and disappeared. He never saw it again.
May 9, 1956 - Jacksonville, FL
Two girls, Joan Frost and Gertie Wynn, while waiting for a bus, saw two pulsating lights flying horizontally and disappearing. 15 minutes later the lights were seen again, stopping at the zenith, merging, and diving to 165' altitude. As the bus arrived, it seemed that the objects had separated and were about to abduct the witnesses, and they ran to the bus in terror.
September 20, 1956 - Hope, AR
Sitting on a pond bank on sunny afternoon when 9 saucers appeared at 12:00 o'clock at a very high altitude. They were silver in color and were in formation, sitting perfectly still.
After a time they shot straight up and disappeared. Made no noise.
September 22, 1956 - Cleethorpes, England
At 3:00 p.m., a large, spherical glass like 80' diameter object was seen over the Cleethorpes coast for over an hour and also seen on radar from RAF Manby.
RAF planes approached the object and it flew off.
August 29, 1957 - Paso Robles, CA
2:43 p.m. PST. GOC spotters Taylor and Bunting saw silver circular object flying N to W, in sight for four minutes. Second sighting was at 9:21 p.m. PST (1721 Zulu). One silver spherical object the size of a baseball at arm's length was seen in a slowly spinning motion moving NW and in sight for 30 seconds. Air Force considered the witnesses unreliable due to age, but Capt. Barlow of the 4771st GOC Squadron Det. No. 2 believes their report to be fairly reliable.
November 10, 1957 - Madison, OH (1:25 a.m.)
Mrs. Leita Kuhn observed a very large, lighted object 66' above the ground in Madison, OH. It was so brilliant that she had to close her eyes. It was over 33' wide, 11½' thick, with a dome on top. The witness had to consult a physician several days later because of serious eye and skin irritation.

No one in crowd felt threatened, no panic just in awe, everyone almost frozen. It was directly over our heads in a wide open farm field.
Do not remember how long it was there, I ran home to tell my parents. I was 7 years old at the time. Did not see craft appear or disappear, it was so fast.
1959 - Frdynia, Poland
An object was reported to have fallen into the harbor. Divers recovered pieces of shiny metal, which was examined by the Polytechnic Institute and Polish Navy. Some material was reportedly lost. Several days later a small humanoid was found on a nearby beach, its remains were sent to the Soviet Union.

Local law enforcement authorities captured a small humanoid outside his craft while two copilots escaped. The alien was turned over to the CIA and died 28 days later.

My husband and I were on vacation. Driving along and heard craft hovering above us, we would speed up, it would speed up. Went on for several minutes then it just shot out above and away from us in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds and we could no longer hear it, but we saw a flash as it left.
June 18, 1960 - Clan Lake, Northwest Territories, Canada
A prospector told the Yellowknife RCMP detachment that a month earlier, he and his partner saw a UFO at Clan Lake, located 30 miles north of Yellowknife. According to investigators, the men claimed they saw a hovering object 4' to 6' feet that hit the surface of the lake and struck the water. The RCMP investigated, but found nothing.
November 27, 1960 - Chula Vista, CA
A red UFO maneuvered all over the sky in huge circles over Chula Vista, San Diego County, California at 7:30 p.m. It looked like a ball with a long antenna rod attached, and a flashing white light ran back and forth along the road. The UFO made several dashes at terrific speeds, and was watched through binoculars by seven witnesses. It made no sound. The sighting lasted between 20 and 30 minutes.

12 white metallic disk shaped objects flew over the countryside in pairs for six hours. They left an angel hair residue, a snowywhite mesh like material.
September 2, 1961 - Albuquerque, NM
Ziegler saw reflection of sun from a shiny surface moving erratically W to E from about 240º azimuth, about WSW, to 210º when it stopped and emitted several smaller silvery objects about 1/6 the size of the main object, then continued on to about 150º azimuth, about SSE, where it again stopped and emitted several silvery objects about 1/6 size, then moved away and climbed to about elevation 50º until disappearance by fading.
May 9, 1962 - Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina
On National Route No. 35, Mr. Jose Carlos Garcia, an employee at the Naval Base of Puerto Belgrano, was traveling with several friends on a hunting trip. After a little while they noticed a glow that they took for the lights of some nearby town, but it turned out to be a luminous object, like mercury gas, which rose and detached two other similar objects. One of them continued to fly along the road, over their jeep, the other two ascended vertically and disappeared. For 8 minutes the hunters chased the friendly UFO, until it accelerated and disappeared too.
May 13, 1962 - Near Oncativo, Cordoba, Argentina
On a trip from Rosario, Yolanda and Miriam Curia saw an object with an elongated shape that radiated a powerful multicolored luminosity. Moments later, the area seemed full of fog and they observed perched near the route and through the trees, a kind of little house illuminated by green, red and yellow lights arranged in an arrow.
May 26, 1962 - Banderalo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mr. Enrique Constignani, a resident of this town, observed the displacement of a resplendent air body that crossed the sky at a height of 600'. It threw luminous flashes and after dividing into two parts, it continued south.
December 21, 1962 - Buenos Aires Airport, Argentina
A large, fiery disk was observed on the runway by Horado Alora and Mario Pezzuto, the two control tower operators, and by the crews of two aircraft. It rose to 33' altitude, hovered, and flew away to the northeast.
1964 - March - Wareham, MA
A Wareham family, father, mother & daughter, were driving home and saw a large reddish/orange triangular shaped object flashing above them at a height of 250'.
The object, with the appearance of a sail, zig zagged like a boat and then disappeared over Silver Lake. After reporting their sighting to Otis Air Force Base, the family could offer no explanations, but were very firm on the fact that they saw a UFO.
January 10, 1965 - Silver Springs, MD
3 members of family observed a bright white light, ½ the size of the size of an automobile, flying straight from NW to SE. The object was believed to be 200' from the ground and in level flight at 45º elevation. The sky was overcast and visibility was 4 miles, according to the Record Card.
The length of observation was 5 to 10 seconds. The time given for the sighting on the Project Record Card is 1555Z which converts to 10:55 a.m. EST. The time given on the Joint Message Form says 1555Z, at night.
January 22, 1965 - Baltimore, MD
A 10 year old boy and 4 adults observed an egg shaped object that went way up in the sky. The object suddenly dove down and disappeared far beyond the observers.
January 26, 1965 - Bedford, VA
10:55 a.m. EST. A woman named Butler, while hanging out clothes observed a square object the size of a football field. The object appeared to be made of aluminum and had small projections on the sides. The object appeared to be at a very low altitude and was traveling east to west at what appeared to be a very slow speed. The length of observation was 3 to 5 minutes. The observer seemed to be competent. Two UFO sightings were reported to the 649th Radar Squadron on the same day.
March 4, 1965 - New York, NY
12:45 a.m. EST. A large elliptical object about the size of a blimp with a fluorescent bluish white color was observed over the Hudson River. The object was at an estimated altitude of 1000' and approximately four city blocks away and was stationary.
The object had no apparent features, sound or exhaust. The object departed very rapidly towards the WNW.
The length of the observation was 5 or 6 minutes.
May 22, 1965 - Albuquerque, NM
Ronnie Charlson, his wife, father-in-law, & mother-in-law, observed 6 egg shaped objects in a V shaped formation traveling at high speed from east to west and moving overhead.
The objects broke formation and came to almost a halt and changed directions to the northeast. The objects appeared to glow dimly from within and had the apparent size of a small eraser held at arm's length. There was no sound heard.
The length of the observation was approximately 30 seconds.
July 6, 1965 - Fossil, OR
At 9:00 a.m. PST, Mr. Wehrle and a boy age 8, observed three silver cigar shaped objects side by side moving to the SW at a slow speed. The objects were estimated to be 60' long and 12' in depth. The objects were in sight for approximately two minutes when they disappeared suddenly. On the record card under 10. It says unidentified, which has been crossed out. The preparing officer wrote: It is my belief, Mr. Wehrle and the boy did observe a UFO.
September 16, 1965 - Pretoria, South Africa
After midnight, two police constables saw a shiny, copper colored craft, which apparently landed at in the middle of Bronkhorstspruit Road. Their patrol vehicle cut out as they watched the craft rapidly ascending, while emitting a sea of flames through two portals, leaving the asphalt ablaze afterwards.

Six luminous spheres were seen flying over the area. A luminous shaft of light descended towards the ground near the witness.
A humanoid figure is seen standing inside the luminous shaft. The being communicates via telepathy with the witness and tells him that someday:

Several children observed beings of small stature with protruding stomachs, dressed in back suits, who ran very fast, apparently without touching the ground.

We now know that the beings in question were already in the area 3 days earlier, since they wee seen on the 14th and 15th by an agricultural worker.

Truck driver Damon Brown saw an oyster shaped object 200' wide 25'-30' thick with a huge red light at each end, one light on the bottom, and a row of blue lights along the bottom, which circled an aircraft, hovered, moved rapidly, then followed the witness car for about 500', veered South and departed at great speed.
Summer - 1968 - Lake Norman, NC
In the late summer of 1968 at 2:00 a.m. a married couple reported seeing a dome topped UFO with windows and odd colored lights, yellow, blue and red fixed together, flying near their Lake Norman home.
The UFO was about 2 to 3 car lengths wide and made a soft humming sound. A metal rod came from the bottom edge of the UFO, as it moved down nearby power lines, almost touching the wires as it followed the power lines.
The witnesses ran the rest of the way home and were badly frightened by their experience.
January 1, 1968 - West Monroe, LA
My mom used to tell me this story. While she was pregnant with me, her and friend of hers were riding in the truck into town. Still on the back roads, a light appeared aboved them. They would speed up, slow down, but light stayed with them.
They rolled the windows down to take a look and all there was, was the bright light and no sound. Except the wind blowing by. Just as soon as they started getting into the town city limites, it sped off.
June, 15, 1968 - DMZ, Viet Nam
Allied forward spotters along the eastern part of the Demilitarised Zone, a 6 mile wide strip separating North and South Vietnam, reported seeing about 30 strange slow-moving 'lights' in the night sky.
July 4, 1969 - Eau Claire, WI (10:30 p.m.)
The witness and her father had gone to a local racetrack in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and at around 10:30 p.m. she was sitting by herself on the top bleachers when she had a feeling she was being watched. She looked to her right and saw a UFO hovering about 1,000' away. She described it as an oval shaped craft, with a transparent rectangular section in the center. She saw inside this transparent part the silhouettes of several men staring at her. At one point she briefly looked away, and when she looked back the object had disappeared.

My two friends were driving down Haror Dr. they looked to their left (east) to see a flying saucer (metallic appearing craft approx. 30' in diameter), hovering over a house. They stopped and watched as a bright blue beam shone down into the house.

White small round object travelled across the sky north to south in seconds. Made no sound. Round object, very bright, white like the moon. Travelled across the sky about 45 degs north to south I was facing west. It travelled across the visible sky on a clear night in seconds. No sound was heard.
I was 17 years old at the time and I am now 50 and I have never forgot what I saw because it was so unusual.
July or August - 1972 - Lake Norman, NC
In July or August, 1972 at 9:30 p.m. businessman Robert P. Sartin, who lives near the Lake Norman Airport and Duke Power Plants 150 high Cowans Ford Dam spotted a UFO. His attention to the UFO came when he heard children fishing from a nearby pier, who were shouting about an object in the sky. Four other persons became witness to the UFO, which was seen about four miles East of the Marshall Steam Plant near Terrell. The UFO, appeared to be about the size of a basketball court and had a thickness, half its width. The object looked like one saucer inverted on top of another and had a row of flashing windows through its middle. It had red, white and yellow lighted windows and hovered in the area overhead for about 10 minutes, before it flew sideways, then moved up and away at an unbelievable speed as it disappeared in the sky.
July 4, 1972 - Near Rehobeth Beach, DE
Fireworks had just ended and there were a lot of cars slowly driving away from the event, & stuck in traffic. I was a young girl, with my sister, mother & father in one of these cars.
A silver metallic saucer hovered, no sound, about 25' in the air over the cars about 5 or 6 cars ahead of us, we had a very clear view. There were three horizontal parts, the middle horizontal part of the craft rotated slowly, with red, yellow, and other colored rectangular lighted sections with rounded corners all about the same size in this rotating section, which rotated clockwise from our perspective. Top and bottom parts were not rotating.
After a few minutes, the craft shot up and away at a high speed at about a 45° angle, again no sound or vibrations.
November 11, 1972 - Sognefjord, Norway
The Norwegian Navy began tracking a USO for two weeks in the Sognefjord, one of the longest and deepest fjords in the world. A fleet of ships and submarine hunting helicopters were tasked with locating the object. On November 20th, the object was seen exiting the water. It was described as a massive, silent, cigar shaped object. One of the ships opened fire on the object, but it simply sank back down beneath the waves. Depth charges were dropped to no avail. Then a plan was drawn up to blockade the fjord and trap the USO, but the object disappeared.
March 23, 1973 - St. Louis, MT
A farmer on the outskirts of town was watching television one night last week when he heard a terrible rumbling sound and the whole house began to shake. At first I thought it was my dog scratching himself and shaking the floor, Then the television started acting up and went off. I went out to see what had happened and when I looked up I saw a bright light hovering about 80' in the air over the house. Then it moved away and disappeared.
October 3, 1973 - Polo, IL
Evening. Police officer saw object over Mt. Morris that appeared to project its orange glow in a beam toward the ground and moved with occasional stops. Seemed to follow Burlington Northern RR tracks, Hoak said. Sheriff's deputies also reported seeing the object in the sky in W. Ogle County.
January 15, 1974 - Eilat/Aqaba Israel
About 7:00 p.m. I was awoken by the hoots and shouts of about 20 student aged folks all excitedly pointing up at this cigar shaped UFO just hanging there above us. It almost felt like it was mockingly challenging us to figure out what it was. It defied all assumptions but one.
It was a UFO.
It appeared to be a silvery pewter and looked exactly like a cigar tube. To this day I still think about how absurd this sounds but it’s true.

June 1, 1974 - Cebu City, Philippines
A huge craft, it's like one entire big city in the sky at nightime, or millions of jet planes flying together in formation at the same time.
Full of lights, slowly moving towards the horizon, no sound, until it dissappeared.
It was observed by some other people in the vicinity of the Mactan Island bridge linking Cebu City and Mactan Island, Philippines.
June 1, 1974 - Le Pegue, Drôme, France
My age at this time was 10, during the night I woke up afraid and call my mother, finally she woke up come to see me, I went to go to the toilet, when I went back to my bed I ask her to open the window.
At the vertical of the house there was 2 white triangles. One was going toward the other one. We watch 5 minutes and she ask me to go back to sleep. Altitude estimation 30.000', like plane.
June 15, 1974 - Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
I was in front of my vacation house, looking at the sky, facing west, then I saw a spherical blue object, like a gas bubble. It was about 30' from the ground level, moving horizontaly like a mini comet.
September - 1974 - Titograd, Yugoslavia
Several former members of the Yugoslav Air Force claim that during late 1974, UFOs interfered with training flights over Titograd, with MiG 21s being scrambled from nearby Batajnica airbase. The Yugoslav fighters engaged in several chases with these objects and even unsuccessfully attempted to shoot them down. The objects eventually stopped appearing.

November 17, 1974 - Viborg, Denmark
This incident was investigated by Maj. Hans Petersen of the Danish Air Force.
The vaporizing effect is explained by scientists as being the result of the surface of the UFO being cooler than -180° Celcius.
Because of that, the surrounding air becomes liquid and flows toward the Earth, which gives the object its jellyfish like appearance.
1975 - 1976 - Southern Manitoba, Canada
Several sightings were reported of a red glowing UFO, sometimes described as mischievous or playful, sighted in Southern Manitoba in 1975 and 1976.
June 22, 1976 - Canary Islands, Spain
Lights and a spherical transparent blue craft, piloted by two beings was reported.
1977 - Cabin Hill, London, England
Two men, were parked in a marshy, densely wooded area of the Hainault Forest, a park in London, England near Cabin Hill. They had been walking their dog in a light rain at around 7:00 p.m. when they heard a rustling sound in the bushes. They then observed a huge figure, about 8' tall and four feet wide, that crossed their path about 25' away and disappeared into the woods. It was dark blue in color and brighter than its surroundings. It had no distinct arms or legs that could be discerned. A UFO landing had been reported in the area a few days earlier, the reason for the investigator being at the site at the time when he encountered the startled witnesses.
1977 - Popayan, Colombia
Object was an inverted triangle of an aproximate size of two meters in the base. It was hovering silently at one meter or less of the top of the roof.
December, 24, 1977 - Camas, WA
Barbara Siewell of Springfield, OR and her family witnessed a UFO hovering over Camas, WA on Christmas Eve, 1977. Two other adult witnesses reported seeing the same thing on the same date, also in Camas, WA.
1978 - Torino, Piedmont, Italy
2 young hikers while walking on Monte Musinè near Torino saw a bright light, one of them temporarily disappeared and after a while was found in a state of shock and with a noticeable scald on one leg. After regaining consciousness he reported having seen an elongated vehicle and that some strangely shaped beings descended from it, touching and efting him. Both the young hikers suffered from conjunctivitis for some time.
1978 - Soviet Union
After a collision with a Soviet fighter plane, a disk shaped object fell into the ocean off Finland, where it was recovered, with humanoid bodies, by a Soviet salvage team.
May 6, 1978 - Padcaya, Bolivia
A large luminous object crashed on a 13,000' mountain. An expedition of soldiers and scientists was dispatched to the site, but was delayed by bad weather. They found nothing.
1979 - Korean Air Space
Korea has a long history of UFO sightings. During the Korean War, both American and Korean pilots reported encounters with UFOs.
In March 1979, two Korean Air Force pilots participating in the Team Spirit joint military exercise reported seeing a very bright, lighted plane. Nothing appeared on their radar screens.
The pilots alleged that the ship had flashing lights on the sides and what looked like a burning furnace in the middle. It then reportedly shot sideways, stopped, and then moved rapidly upwards and out of sight.
December 18, 1979 - Lan Xi, Zhejiang Province, China
On December 18, 1979, at 4:00 a.m., a 25 year old truck driver almost crashed into a parked car in the middle of the road. The car’s occupant then explained he just saw something strange up ahead on the roadway.
The truck driver drove on up the slope of a hill and saw a blue glow and a dome shaped craft on the road. Two 5' tall figures stood next to the object, in silvery clothing, with bright glowing lights on their heads.
The trucker went out and grabbed a crowbar, but by then the object and figures were already gone.
1980 - Levittown, Puerto Rico
Hundreds of witnesses observed a disk, illuminated by bright lights, flying at a low altitude over a residential quarter of Levittown.
When dozens of people called the local police station, a patrol car was sent.
Police Officer Sgt. José Cordero arrived just in time to observe the large disk passing directly over him. He was able to take ten photos with his official Polaroid camera.
July 26, 1980
The sailors on board of the Brazilian ship Caioba-Seahorse saw a grey round object with a diameter of approximately 33' drifting in the water. At the same time a bright light appeared on the horizon and approached the ship. All technical equipment on the ship stopped working as the light got closer, the grey object in the sea which was now illuminating from green, red, blue and yellow. The light, appearing now as a very bright disk shaped object, sank down to the metalish USO in the water and connect with it. Both objects rose from the water, hovered for some minutes over the sea and then accelerated with at very high speed up to the sky before disappearing.

A local fisherman said that in the year 1983, while on his way to a fishing trip with some friends in Dique Los Alazanes, in the region of La Toma, Argentina, he had seen a UFO with several lights that moved below mountain level between the Uritorco and the Overo hills.
This case predates the famous Pajarillo footprint.

July 22, 1985 - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Africa
Two jets are sent from Thornhill air base to respond to an object on radar first noticed over Bulawayo. It was described as a disc with a cone on top. It was shining so bright it was hard to look at, and this was during the day.
January 9, 1986 - El Pajarillo Hiill, Capilla del Monte, Argentina
UFO landing on El pajarillo hill near the city of Capilla del Monte. It left a footprint on the ground.
September 27, 1989 - Voronezh, Russia
Adults and children watch a silver ball emerge from a pink mist above Western Park about 200 miles south of Moscow. The ball came down to earth and flew over tree tops bending them as it neared.
November 20, 1989 - Sainte-Marie-de-Monnair, Marieville, Quebec, Canada
Several people heard a noise similar to an electric generator and saw some strange lights in the sky.
Two days after the phenomenon a perfect round circle was found outside the residence of Mr. Jean Prigent, one of the witnesses of the sighting.
February 2, 1990 - Hamburg, Germany
A soundless flying triangle was observed near Hamburg, by the amateur astronomer Gutschke when he looked at the sky to observe the stars. The 200' long triangle was surrounded by a luminous dust.
In the 3 corners there were pinkish luminous rings. The altitude was approximately 1000'.
In about 8 seconds the triangle moved from the zenith to the horizon, in the direction of the city of Hamburg, where it vanished in the dust.
1991 - West Bromwich, Sandwell, West Midlands, England
We watched the large bright dot in the sky move in a roughly 10 cm area of sky, from my perception, quite erratically then moved very fast to my left, way too far and fast to be an aircraft.
It was instantly, we only noticed it cos it was moving and quite visible, then after about 1 or 2 minutes it disappeared.

A hovering triangular craft with red central lights, and white star like lights on each extremity, was spotted by a family at Baviaanspoort. Around the same time in Belgium, a similar craft was sighted.

A similar craft was sighted in the nearby Eersterust township on the evenings of April 8 and April 9, either stationary or moving.
February 1993 - Los Angeles, CA
One of the UK's most prolific UFO speakers, Barclay has a colorful past, including modelling for the UK tabloid The Sun and as a Penthouse Pet. But her most spectacular claim to fame is that she was abducted in downtown Los Angeles in February 1993. She claimed the encounter involved the spaceship being chased or escorted by numerous unmarked black helicopters.
September 16, 1996 - Corme Royal, France
In the 5 hour old neighborhoods, the witness in his car observes an ovoid, oval shaped] machine, object, with 3 portholes emitting a strong orange light.
The object is stationary at an altitude of 100' and between 900' and 400' from the road. The somewhat frightened witness continues on the road and subsequently observes 2 identical objects higher in the sky. The objects observed were dark and their size estimated at 30' in length. No explanation was found with this close observation.
1997 - Republic of Kalmykia, Russia
Ilyumzhinov was the former leader of the Republic of Kalmykia in the Russian Federation. He claims that in 1997, aliens called at his Moscow apartment. He was lured outside and was given a tour of the spaceship, but that he was unable to understand or communicate with the aliens. Following his revelations, a Russian MP urged the President to investigate, concerned that Ilyumzhinov may have revealed state secrets.
December 27, 1998 - Graaff Reinet, South Africa
A family videotaped a group of roundish triangular craft passing over the town of Graaff Reinet. The crafts changed color and circled each another, before being overtaken by a much larger, shiny, golden craft.
December 1, 1999 - Tikal, Guatemala
It was December 1st, 1999, when me and a couple of dozen people were witnesses to an incredible spectacle in the surroundings of the Temple Of The Two-Headed Serpent, at Tikal.
It was 5:00 a.m. and I was in the fourth temple with about 12 people, while the others were in the park nearby. The sky lightened up completely when we saw a bright sphere, Twogger than the moon and totally white. It crossed the sky from one side to the other and disappeared all of a sudden, leaving a long trace behind itself, a luminous trail in the sky which we could see for about three minutes. Some of us even managed to take photos.
September 8, 2004 - Luxor, Egypt
Mr. L. was on holidays in Luxor, Egypt. He take several photos of the temples and statues with his similar camera.
When he was at home in Germany and got the manufacture departures of the pictures he saw on some photos of the Karnak Temple that 3 unknown objects are flying above the temple.
August 29, 2005 - Kingston, Jamaica
My friends and I were outside talking, I was looking at the stars. Then I realized that the stars I was looking at started 2 move slowly. It looked like 1 object but it was like 5 stars in the shape of a triangle.
It was low, at cloud level hovering over us. I showed my friends and they freaked out. It was slowly hovering, no sounds, and it seemed like it was transparent except for the star like lights.
We saw it for 2 minutes, then it just took off like a flash of light.
May 28, 2006 - Tallinn, Estonia
I stood on my balcony at 1:00 a.m.
It happened at 4:09 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. local time.
On the sky, there was a bright, little yellowish spot slowly moving from south to north, as big as normally Venus would be from Earth. The movement was stable and the illumination of an object didn’t change during the observation. After approximately 6 minutes we lost the spot as it melted into a light blue horizon. I have been an amateur astronomer, so I know that it wasn’t any planet, star, bolite, meteorite.
It possibly was some weather balloon, the wind was blowing from 288°, so not from south to north, but I don’t know the data from higher levels.
July 22, 2006 - Geneva, Switzerland
I stood on my balcony at 1:00 a.m.
There were 17 orange colored round lights in the night sky. They seemed to be several miles up in the air and hovering right over Lake Geneva. They seemed to illuminate the sky around them and thus created a kind of proper space in the darkness.
I watched for around 15 minutes until they faded away, one by one.
September 13, 2007 - South West of Jersey Channel Islands
My son was watching TV around 9:30 p.m. and saw through our window something moving fast in the sky and it was zig zagging.
He managed to take a 2 second video of it on his telephone. It was in the south west sky. The video is not to clear.
But my son always jokes about me saying I was mad. He was so scared and now is a believer. He is so spooked.
2008 - Canary Islands
At least two people reported spotting a UFO just over the horizon, viewed from Lanzarote floating off the coast of Fuerteventura. It apparently vanished after about 3 minutes. The sighting remains unexplained.
July, 2010 - Tarantonio, Messina, Italy
Mr. A.P., 32 years old, Mr. G.L, 29 years old, witnesses who want to remain anonymous, recounted a sighting that occurred in early July. They were chatting while sitting on the beach when their attention is drawn to a submerged light about 150' from the shoreline. Approaching, they see at an estimated depth of 25' a large, round object, surrounded by lights, stationed underwater for about ten minutes: incredulous and amazed, they see the same object emerge slowly and silently fly up, then stop at about 90' in altitude. Mr. A.P., equipped with a camera, takes pictures of the object that is parked above the sea for a couple of minutes: he quickly notices a circular structure, with many lights around and two or three spheres of satellite lights: suddenly, however, the object dives, always remaining visible under the surface of the water. 2 hours of missing time.
May 27, 2011 - Bulacan, The Phillippines
A couple of UFOs were seen in Bulacan in the first week of May 2000. But they disappeared and never seen.
On May 27, people caught a sight of two UFOs in the middle of the night. The same as the September 2000 UFO sightings, it was red and large like a basketball. Some people said that one of them was at the east and the other at the west, colliding each other and then disappeared.

I didn't see this at the time I was experimenting with camera settings on my Nokia Lumia 1020. I didn't look at the result as it was obviously over exposed but last night the kids when looking through my camera roll on the phone and spotted something.

January 6, 2018 - New Zealand
A farmer looking after a cow in labor has caught 3 UFOs on camera.
She was watching out for a cow that was about to give birth when she saw this weird light outside over the field.
Her first thought was that these lights were part of a military operation, but after a minute or two realized she was witnessing something else.
After the sighting the cow gave birth to 2 young calves.
April 21, 2019 - Glasgow, KY
A video taken in Glasgow, Ky., shows a jet flying alongside a circular object with no emissions.
Here's how the observer described the event in his report to the MUFON:
Fishing alone on a cloudless clear blue sky, Easter Sunday.
