It was a warm summer night in 1959 or 1960 when my mother called me in to see something they were broadcasting live, on TV, from Portland OR.It must have been on for 10 or 15 minutes and went off and nothing was ever reported on it again.
They showed a disk shaped object hovering over the city with different colored lights and different pieces of equipment being raised and lowered from the bottom.
I have never heard anything more about this.
