Giant Black Hole In Sky

Date: April 7, 1962

Location: Ogden, UT

I was 12 and my sister was 14, but I saw the shape before her and I ran downstairs to get mom first.

I got my sister to go out, that's when it happened.

There was a large humming, black giant hole in sky above us in back yard with stars around the black circle.

Then it hummed very loud and heard a zip.

A bone throbbing deep noise that we both felt, then the noise built up to a high pitch.

Straight up then we saw the stars again where the black circle was.

I first saw it through binoculars while looking at planes coming into Ogden Airport, no one has ever believed us.

I'm 67 years old now, but can still see & hear & feel that deep thrumming.

And the blank hole over our backyard until the noise and the stars where it was black.

I was 12 years old for Hells sake.
