Brilliant Silver Disk

Brilliant Silver Disk

Date: February 2, 1961

Location: Lancaster, CA

Brilliant, silver disk. 50° to 55° angle of sight.

Appears to be stationary in sky.

Smaller object ⅛ the size of larger, same color and shape emerges and accelerates away at a very high velocity, out of sight.

The smaller objects direction of travel appeared to be at a 90° angle to my line of sight, level to the horizon.

The larger objects size would be smaller than the size of a dime held at arms length and the smaller object would be about the size of a pencil eraser.

The sky was perfectly clear, no clouds, no haze.
