UFO Near Fort Atkinson
Driving to work at 11:00 p.m. on Highway J North toward Jefferson, crossed intersection of Highway 12 and noticed a light above a field to the East.Highway J curves East and after approximately ½ mile we were right in it's path, as it was moving very slowly at an altitude of about 50' in a North direction.
We slowed and I observed from the passenger seat a huge roughly rectangular craft and could make out 2 to 4 upturned lights illuminating an object with trapezoidal and angular sides coasting just above the treetops.
No noise, no wind as this object glided directly overhead.
The craft was approximately 45' wide, 25' in height, and a monstrous 200' in length.
Appeared to be moving at less than 10 mph as it's form took several seconds from the time the front end eclipsed the road to when the back end cleared the edge of the road.
It continued moving North with no deviation over a hill.
My pregnant wife to be who was driving refused to stop and allow me to get out and study it further, out of fear.
Having worked at a small airport in high school, it piqued my interest as it was like no aircraft I had ever seen or heard of.
It was completely black or possibly a dark grey and could only be compared to a stealth type aircraft.
But it was no helicopter or jet.
I Later heard rumors from a resident on a connecting road, Scheppert Road, that they have seen mysterious craft around that time, and since.
