5 Disks Observed
At 10:00 a.m. one of the few daylight sightings of occupants took place.Farmers Joao Ernani and Pedro Zilli saw two aluminum colored disks hovering about 3' or 4' above the ground from a distance of about 700'.
Six medium sized men of slim build with tight fitting, dark gray suits were returning to the craft. The disk appeared to be about 10' in diameter and rose with a sharp whistling sound, bending some palm trees almost double as they went over.
At the same time, 3 more disks rose from behind trees and all 5 craft headed out over the South Atlantic.
