UFO Collision With Marine Corp Fighter
I was a radar operator in the Marine Corp reserve at Alameda Naval Air Base.
I saw 3 boogies on screen at 38°, saw them again at 184° going outbound 15 seconds later.
2 jets were scrambled to investigate, one reported a collision with a UFO, and he had lost his canopy.
Upon return to the base the jet was put in a hangar with 2 guards posted outside.
3 new trainees, myself included, were not allowed back on base when we returned for our drill the following week.
To this date I have never been discharged from the Marine Corp Air Wing Bubble reserves.
