UFO Not Visible To Naked Eye

UFO Not Visible To Naked Eye

Date: September 17, 2016

Location: Bristol Channel, Wales

Police in Wales filmed a UFO craft over the Bristol Channel last week and uploaded the video to Twitter, asking social media followers for suggestions that could help to identify it. The footage has caused excitement among members of the UFO community. UFO conspiracy theorists say that police documentation of the mysterious craft could be the definitive proof of alien visitations to our planet that skeptics have been waiting for.

The UFO was filmed on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at about 1,000' over the Bristol Channel by a stunned police helicopter pilot.

The Bristol Channel separates South Wales from South West England.

National Police Air Service, NPAS, based in St. Athan, a village in South Wales, shared part of the seven minutes footage their Twitter followers on Friday, September 23, 2016. They asked for suggestions that could help solve the UFO mystery, adding an alien emoji to the tweet.

Any suggestion? Nothing seen by local ATC, Air Traffic Control. Object was captured over the Bristol Channel at approx 1,000'.

The UFO gave off a tremendous amount of heat. Police said the pilot was unable to film the object using daytime setting for the camera. He was able to film it only with a heat sensitive infrared camera. This means the craft was very hot and visible to the infrared equipment but invisible to human eyes that detects objects in the visible spectrum of electromagnetic radiation.

The footage shows a black, hot, disk shaped object hovering and then flying over the Bristol Channel. NPAS explained to their Twitter followers that the infrared footage was actually captured at about 9:30 p.m. although the footage reads 8:30 p.m., according to the Mirror.

The tweet explained that the pilot was returning to land from the sea when he detected the UFO on infrared camera and filmed it for about seven minutes. The actual size of the craft was uncertain, but the pilot was convinced it was not a balloon or lantern because it was flying against the wind.

Puzzled police officers debated its nature. The officers admitted frankly that they had no idea what their infrared camera had picked up, and that air traffic control, ATC, did not detect any unusual activity in the area at the time the pilot filmed the object.

We really don’t know but doubt it was a lantern as it was going into the wind. It was pitch-black. The pilot tried on day camera, but nothing seen. This clip is just a small part of the video. It was on Saturday night about 9:30 p.m. and was spotted over the Bristol Channel at approximately 1000'. Really difficult to judge the size but we filmed it for just over 7 minutes as we were coming back into land. Only slight problem is the amount of heat and it was travelling into wind? We really don’t know but doubt it was a lantern as it was going into the wind…

The footage was also shared on Darren Ashmore’s Twitter handle, UFOS Exposed, with the message:

Hot, Invisible & Flying into the wind, UFO Captured by Police Helicopter in St Athens, Wales With Onboard FLIR Camera. 17/9/2016.

UFO blogger Scott C. Waring also featured the video on his UFO Sightings Daily blog.

A police helicopter over Bristol recorded a dark round UFO with infrared heat vision this week, the UFO blogger wrote. It was confusing to them because it was moving against the wind and did have a heat signature. They even tried to switch to daytime color camera, but it was not visible and could only be seen with the infrared camera.

According to Waring, the statement that the craft was invisible means that it was a cloaked alien UFO that was given away by its heat signature.

Many UFOs have a cloak that can only be seen with an IR converted camera.

Cloaking, according to UFO hunters, refers to the technologies that aliens use to hide the presence of their UFOs from human observers. A cloaking technique that UFO hunters mention frequently is cloud cloaking, which involves UFOs concealing their presence by simulating the appearance of natural cloud cover.

Waring also argued that the sighting of the UFO over the Bristol Channel suggested there was an underwater alien UFO base in the Bristol Channel.

The UFO was seen over the Bristol Channel and probably came from below the water, the UFO blogger wrote. I am confident if the police continued to follow it, they would see it disappear under the water to return to the alien base it came from.

Many UFO enthusiasts described the decision of the police authorities to release the remarkable infrared footage as surprising. Enthusiasts have often accused the authorities of covering up UFO evidence. Enthusiasts also noted the use of an alien emoji in the NPAS tweet, saying it was an admission by the authorities that the object could have been an alien UFO.

The openness by the police about the sighting led some to speculate it could be a sign that the authorities were gradually lifting the veil of official secrecy surrounding UFO phenomenon and extraterrestrial activity within national air spaces.

But some suggested that the officer who shared the footage on Twitter may have acted without the permission of his superiors and possibly landed himself in hot water.

But this is not the first time that police authorities in the U.K. and the U.S. have shared information about UFOs captured on infrared cameras.

UFO hunters recently obtained infrared footage of a barbell shaped UFO captured in Daytona Beach, FL, by police on March 1, 1991. The UFO, reportedly invisible to the unaided eye, was captured from a helicopter by Sheriff Department employees Mark Patterson and Jim DelaRosa, using a FLIR camera.

Expert analysis of the footage allegedly ruled out the possibility that the heat-emitting craft was a man-made aircraft, such a helicopter or airplane.
