It Was Saucer Shaped
There were lights on the object,There was an aura or haze around the object as well.
I was 8 years old, riding my bicycle home when I saw the object, and I got off my bicycle to watch it.
There was only one object.
It was saucer shaped, appeared metallic and had multi colored lights around the edge.
It came from my left, hovered and then flew off to my right at a speed that was much faster than any known aircraft.
The lights flashed off and on.
There was no sound of an engine or motor, it was completely silent.
Everything was silent.
The object was only about 300' away from me and approximately 250' in the air.
I judged the size to be about 200' across.
The speed with which this object moved was breathtaking.
After observing the object, I got back on my bike and continued home and told my brother.
He said there had been frequent sightings around Battle Creek at that time.
Although this happened 75 years ago, my memory of this has stayed with me.
It’s definitely something one couldn’t forget.
