What I Observed At 13

Date: July 9, 1947

Location: Johnston City, IL

I was only 13 at the time but I will never forget what I watched on that warm July evening, I am 69 now.

It's been a long time ago, but I feel I can tell some one that may belive what I watched cross the northern sky going in a easterly direction.

The Sun was below the horizon, not a cloud in the night sky.

No stars were visible at least in that direction.

There wasn't any sound they were of a metallic very shiny looking material.

From where I stood they would be the size of a full Moon.

80° or 90° in the air.

They looked to be flying in a V pattern.

I've kept this to myself for all these years not knowing who would belive me, or think I was nuts.

Only a handfull know my story, and it's the truth.
