2 Bright Llights Going Across Southern Sky
Back in the late 1950s, Dad and I were out plowing in east central KS and come dark in the evening, we had to quit for the day as we didn't have lights on our old tractors. Dad had gotten to the end of the field some time before I did and he was stopping at the end talking to a neighbor over the fence by the road.They both saw these two lights on the southern horizon at a far distance that followed each other closely across from east to west at a good rate of speed, faster than any airplanes they had ever seen at the time. The light seemed to remain consistent till they disappeared.
We had no explanation except they being a UFO type sighting. Was a clear evening with the stars coming out already.
