Another Boomerang Shaped UFO

Date: January 16, 1985

Location: Calera, AL

I was outside of our house sitting on the hood of my car listening to a basketball game over the radio, because the station came in better on my car radio.

There were some white cumulus clouds in the night sky.

I was looking up at the clouds when I saw a large boomerang shaped, orange colored, glowing object moving across the sky almost above where I was. It moved at a quick pace, and made no noise at all.

I saw the orange glow reflect off of the clouds as it glided across the sky.

There was no time to get anyone else to see it before it disappeared over the trees out of view.

I was astonished, I had never seen anything like that before or since.

It’s been 34 years since then, and I haven’t seen anything else unusual, but I am always looking around the night sky even today. I was reading some other reports and found about 6 or 7 stories of people seeing things around Calera, more recently.

Calera must be in a path that lends itself to sightings.
