Newton Humaniod Sighting
Near the top of Haytor, Mrs. C. Woods saw a little man watching her, shading his eyes from the sun. She was within 120' when he dove out of sight between stones.He was 3' to 4' tall, dressed in a brown smock with a cord around the waist, and with a brown cap or brown hair. He appeared elderly rather than young.
